Dear Members of Springfield/Morton Community,
We join our community in mourning the impact of the devastating fire at St. Francis on Monday, October 7th. Many of the students in our district either attended school there at some time during their childhood, taken part in CCD classes, or attended church and worshipped there. Others still may not have attended the church in any capacity, but having witnessed the fire and its impact on the community may still create emotional distress and discomfort.
Please know that our counseling staff stands ready to support you and your children. If you are aware of any child that is experiencing stress or anxiety related to this or other events, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s guidance counselor and reach out for assistance.
