Jennifer Flynn might be a new face on the Springfield Board of School Directors, but she has been a prominent part of the school district for years.
Mrs. Flynn has been a Springfield resident for the last 18 years, and along with being a taxpayer, she has three children attending Springfield schools: a son in 10th grade at SHS, a daughter in 8th grade at ETR, and a son in 2nd grade at Sabold Elementary. Her vested interest in the school district fueled her decision to run for the school board, and she was successfully elected in November.
A longtime volunteer, Mrs. Flynn wanted to have more of a voice and to be a part of the decision process in the Springfield School District. She is a new member of both the Communications and Education committees and spends her free time at the soccer, baseball and football fields. When she isn’t watching her kids play sports, Mrs. Flynn enjoys a meal from Tavola Restaurant + Bar.
Mrs. Flynn earned her degree from Widener University and currently works in the Child Care industry.
