Springfield Launches New App, Social Media Platforms

The Springfield School District is proud to launch a new mobile app for parents and students to easily get information without having to dig through the district's website.

The app, which is available for both Android and Apple, provides access to all of the website features such as announcements, lunch menus, athletic schedules, and social media posts. There is also a link to connect to the Home Access Center. The app will also be customizable. For example, a parent with students at Sabold Elementary School and E.T. Richardson Middle School can filter to only get information about those two schools.

The app's default setting provides district-wide information including emergency notifications such as snow days.

To add the new app to your mobile device, visit ssdcougars.org/ssdapp or search Springfield SD Cougars in the app store.

To coincide with the launch of the app, the Springfield School District social media presence is expanding with a new Facebook and Instagram accounts. The district is excited to showcase the wonderful events going on throughout the school year as well as be a source of information for the Springfield community.
