DCCC Will Display SHS Artwork in Exhibition

The Springfield School District would like to congratulate select Springfield High School students whose work was selected to be in the Delaware County Community College Regional High School Art Exhibition. The exhibition will be held from 4 to 7 pm. on Tuesday, January 30, in the Art Gallery in Room 2305. The event is open to the public.

The following students will have their artwork displayed: Nahkyia Abrams (12th), Miranda Caramanico (12th), Karli Davis (12th), Caitlyn Rich (12th), Amelia Sanfilippo (12th), Savannah Willis (12th), An-Me Morris (11th), Gabby Varacalli (11th), Jenny Hua (10th), Alyson Minchin (10th), Makhshoda Mills (11th), and Winne Lin (9th).

The third annual Regional High School Art Exhibition showcases the work of art students from sixteen high schools in Delaware and Chester Counties. The exhibition, which is sponsored by the Communications, Arts & Humanities Division, will feature over 160 pieces of artwork created in a wide variety of media. Following the free event, a reception will be held with refreshments being served. An award presentation will begin at 5:30 pm. and tours of the facilities will begin at 6 pm. for anyone who is interested in learning more about the A.F.A degree program at Delaware County Community College.

The artworks will remain on display from January 24 to February 22, 2018. The hours for the display are 9 am. to 5 pm. on Monday to Friday.
