The employment of students takes place in the spring for each summer season.
Application
Springfield School District does not accept paper applications. Springfield's application process is now online, and we invite you to apply electronically via our Online Application. The opening and closing dates for acceptance of all applications will be stated on the flyer posted at the High School main office, as well as other bulletin boards around the building. Applications will not be accepted before, or after, the dates posted on the flyer.
Follow the instructions to complete your application. Note that you will need your username and password whenever you log on to complete, polish or update your application file.
Nepotism Policy
Please review the policy on the link below to determine if you have a qualifying relative working for Springfield School District before applying for a position.
If you are selected for employment, an acceptance letter will be mailed to your home for completion. You will need the following information to be sent in with your paperwork.

Working Papers
You will need working papers if you are under the age of 18, which can be obtained at the High School main office. You will need to supply your birth certificate and have a parent/guardian with you. Please call 610-938-6100 for details.
Clearances
An FBI Clearance, Criminal Record Check, and Child Abuse Clearance are all considered conditions of employment. Please refer to the link for information on how to apply and cost.
