With the safety and well-being of students always in mind, the District has been keeping a close eye on the coronavirus outbreak around the globe. The District has procedures in place for reportable or communicable illnesses, including the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
There are currently NO reported cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID -19) connected to the Springfield School District or the state of Pennsylvania at this time.
The District will continue to monitor this situation and work closely with the Delaware County Department of Intercommunity Health Coordination (ICH) and the PA Department of Health. If there were a confirmed case of the coronavirus in our community, guidance and information would immediately be distributed to our families.
