Students Grade 9-12 are eligible to try out for inter-scholastic team sports held in the Fall, Winter and Spring seasons.  All athletes are required to have a completed PIAA physical to participate.  Physical forms are available in the trainer's office or under related links below. Athletes must meet SHS's eligibility requirements, namely, they may not be failing any two core subjects on a weekly basis.

The NCAA has strict criteria that determines eligibility for participation in Division I and Division II athletics. It is recommended that prospective athletes review the College-Bound Student-Athlete Handbook regarding eligibility and recruiting.
