ETR Guidance

The middle school counselors collaborate with school staff, parents and the community to support students to meet their academic, personal, social/emotional potential.  Through individual meetings and classroom lessons, the middle school counselor provides students with opportunities to explore and discuss academic best practices, career exploration and interests, and social/emotional healthy habits for middle school success and to prepare for high school.   The middle school counselor assists in many facets of the student experience including, but not limited to: student meetings/intervention, scheduling/course selection; extracurricular involvement and interests; academic interventions; student assistance program interventions; 504 accommodations; Naviance career lessons and grade level team collaboration.
