A little bit about me...

I grew up in Drexel Hill, PA and graduated from Upper Darby High School.  I studied music at both West Chester University and Immaculata University and have a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. I currently hold a PA Instructional I Certificate in Music K-12 as well as a Level One certificate from the Technology Institute for Music Education. I am currently pursuing a Masters of Music in Music Technology at Valley Forge Christian College.

As a teacher in Springfield School District my responsibilities include Director of our High School Marching Bands and Symphonic Band, overseeing the Indoor Guard and Percussion Ensemble, and teaching Music Business at SHS and Music Technology at ET Richardson Middle School.

In addition to my teaching experience I am also a professional saxophonist and recording artist. I have been involved in the music business for over 18 years, performing with many of my own groups and earning credits on over 25 recorded albums. My work with SOL3 Records, Orchard Records, Melody Meadows Records, and Koko-Liberace Tuneage has earned me a place as a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (NARAS). I have performed with Ernie Watts, Colonel Bruce Hampton, and played the second stage for many artists including Weezer; Stone Temple Pilots; Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young; and Bruce Springsteen.  I am currently performing with the Steve Liberace Band, one of the area’s top jazz and rock groups.
