Hello! My name is Miss Kristen Naab and I teach first grade at the Springfield Literacy Center. This is my third year teaching in Springfield School District and my second year as a full-time teacher in first grade.
I graduated from West ChesterUniversity with a Bachelor degree both in Early Childhood (K-3) and Special Education (K-12). I received my Elementary Education (K-6) certificate in the graduate program at Cabrini College. I am currently pursuing my Master of Education with a reading specialist certificate.
Upon graduating in May 2008 from West Chester University, I began substitute teaching at both Sabold and Scenic Hills. I continued to daily substitute teach in the fall both in Springfield School District and five other school districts in Delaware County. In October 2008, I was hired as a Long Term Substitute teacher in first grade at Sabold. I happily spent the rest of the school year and the following year in Sabold's Room 6. I have also taught two years in the Summer S.T.A.R.S. program. I am eager to begin my first school year at the new Springfield Literacy Center!
I grew up in Springfield, Delaware County, and currently reside there with my mom. My dad lives close by in Broomall. I have two brothers, one sister, a brother-in-law, sister-in-law, and am the proud aunt of 5 nieces and nephews!
I love to teach and am very excited to be at the Springfield Literacy Center. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year with your children!
