For the second year in a row, Springfield High School (SHS) has the number one SPP score among high schools in Delaware County and is tied for tenth in Pennsylvania.
The School Performance Profile, or SPP, informs the public of the academic performance measures of each school in Pennsylvania. The SPP uses multiple sources of data to generate each school's score. Some of the data includes attendance rates, graduation rates, SAT and AP scores, and the percent of students who scored advanced and proficient on the Keystone Exams.
The 2017 SPP score for Springfield High School is a 97.2 and is based on the performance of the graduating class of 2018.
The Delaware County Daily Times wrote a piece on Springfield High School's success in the SPP results, which you can read here.
