Our local school directors are elected by the residents of Springfield and Morton. As a nine member School Board, the school directors manage financial, personnel and legal matters and often speak as a majority voice. However, any school director may express his/her personal opinions as an individual resident and taxpayer. To the extent that any individual board member expressed an opinion about delays in the approval process of the High School Project, this expression should not be construed as the opinion of the entire School Board, but rather that individual's opinion. The School Board recognizes that there is a process which must be followed related to the required approvals and looks forward to working cooperatively with the Township and its Boards and Committees to move this project through the approval process in a timely fashion.
